Gore & Grimes needed to purchase IT as a service, to allow better service to their staff and customers. They needed to ensure IT service allowed them improve efficiencies and take advantage of current technology without the cost of in-house IT resources while allowing the Partners and associates to work from anywhere.
There was no specific IT department, go-to person or IT lead within Gore & Grimes. This was being handled by an experienced legal partner whose time could be more efficiently used. The practice and industry demanded the IT world be embraced. With limited in-house experience and knowledge of IT, the business wanted a cost effective, fixed IT service solution.
Enterprise Solutions provided a ‘Total Care’ managed services IT solution, encompassing a complete product refresh, an IT helpdesk, maintenance and on-site support, engineer visits on request, remote management, a preventative maintenance routine and management of 3rd party service providers. By having a single point of contact, Enterprise Solutions became an integral part of the Gore & Grimes team allowing them to focus on their business and gain the efficiencies they required. The complete project is run on a three year cycle with fixed monthly IT costs. This allows for Enterprise Solutions to provide a complete service to the business which has resulted in a reduction on IT spend and increased service to the users
Gore & Grimes now has a fully functional IT department with all of the skills and services required at a fixed monthly cost. Enterprise Solutions is an extension of Gore & Grimes infrastructure and ensures they are able to operate in an efficient and competitive manner. They also have a remote access solution that provides the Partners the flexibility they were previously without, thus allowing productivity anytime from anywhere. Now in its third, three-year, rotation Enterprise Solutions and Gore & Grimes continue to work in partnership.
